Travel between Hotham and Dinner Plain will be a whole lot easier this season, thanks to a new night time bus service operating between the two alpine villages on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
The new bus service hours, an initiative of Dinner Plain Alpine Village and the Alpine Shire Council, will allow both Hotham and Dinner Plain guests to travel more easily at night time enabling them to enjoy some of the fun night time activities and excellent restaurant options both villages offer.
The Snow Park in Dinner Plain, new for 2015, will offer skiing, snow tubing, lessons and snow play open every day in peak season as well as night time skiing and snow tubing under the tower lights 6pm-8.30pm Wednesday and Saturday nights in peak season. This complements Hotham’s night skiing at the Big D and the Basin Terrain Park also held on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
The bus service also provides access to excellent restaurants and eateries at both Hotham and Dinner Plain, so guests can enjoy the variety of food both villages offer.
The Dinner Plain to Hotham bus service will run 6.30pm to 12pm Wednesdays and Saturdays 29 June to 4 September 2015. For more information and for timetables please see www.hotham.com.au/DPbus.
Night skiing is available at Dinner Plain 6pm to 8.30pm and Hotham 6.30pm to 9.30pm Wednesdays and Saturdays in peak Winter season.
