FIRST RESORT TO HIT ONE METRE

Posted 20 July, 2018

Frothin for Hotham
Getting sendy

All smiles on a pow day
Lots of snow
Fresh tracks
Blue Ribbon magic
Snow happy
Stoke levels high

Crack out the balloons and streamers

Today, Hotham was the first resort in Australia to hit the magical one metre snow base mark. Overnight 24cm of snow fell, covering the resort in a blanket of white. We are also excited to announce that Orchard and Keoghs are set to have their grand opening mid-morning tomorrow, Saturday 21 July.

With more snow forecast for today, conditions across the resort are looking prime. Plenty of guests got up bright and early to get their first pow turns in for the day, making the most of Heavenly Valley 7.30am starts.

To quote our Head of Ski Patrol and daily snow reporter, Bill Barker "crack out the balloons and streamers" it's time to celebrate!
